The snap reflex is the body’s natural response to a rapid stretch. When a muscle-tendon unit is quickly lengthened, the nervous system responds with an automatic, powerful contraction.

In boxing, this shows up as:

  • Better combination flow

This reflexive action is significantly faster than conscious effort. The nervous system reacts before the brain has time to think.
